We Have a New Tenant!!

We have a new tenant in the double-wide mobile home we rent out. The lease was signed on Saturday. Time to break out the champaign!! Unfortunately, we still have work to do from the mess we found after the last tenant was evicted. We now have about two weeks to get the work done!.

Yesterday, we took w walk on the Andy K. Wells Hike and Bike Trail in Killeen. A few years ago, when we visited this park, the trail was very well maintained. Since then, they have added a bridge and a section of trail between Rotary Park and 28th Street. Unfortunately, the groundskeeping has been lackadaisical- the walkway needs to be edged, fire ant mounds border the trail, stands for water dispensers have neither water coolers nor cups, there are bare spots in the lawns and depressionis in the lawns that hold standing water. Given the other issues, I was surprised that there was only a little trash anong the path.
